It's London Baby!!!

3.31.2011

So I've been over on this side of the pond for about 3 weeks now and things couldn't be better!!! I'm still really deep into the whole job and flat search but wanted to share some of the other things I've been up to. Here is a recap in the form of pics. of my time in London thus far... hope you enjoy!
meet the hubby... ben =)
his famous mussel soup...
wine & lace...
random guy...
can you see me???
It's been really nice to be involved in Ben's life over here and getting to share in all the "normal" little things most couples might take for granted. It's funny to be the "mrs" but I am getting used to my new name. I also love getting to spend time with my new friends over here aka Ben's friends, and exploring all London has to offer.
liverpool sunday market...
leather bags...
cool owl print...
yummy market food...
love love love street art!!!
I've also taken the time to be the "tourist" while running to and from flat viewings and just indulging in picture taking. I especially love capturing anything and everything british... what can I say as an american, I'm just used to having a lot of home town pride and I wouldn't want to offer my new home anything less ;)
so grateful for these...
it's the new...
red, white, & blue...
i heart double decker buses!!!
these too!!!
lovely parks...
cute family...
splish...
splash...

green tights...
Another fun weekend activity that the hubs and I have taken up is roaming the streets of london and poping in and out of coffee shops and vintage stores. There are so many great thrift stores here that we are thinking of using that to our full advantage to decorate once we find a flat!!!
so many treasures...
so many shoes...

and boots...
um the word your looking for is heaven!!!
bunnies!!!
Ok I know this has been a long post and I'm sorry, this is the last group I promise you!!! But in my defense, this has been 3 weeks of catching you all up to speed on my life so far. One of the best things about being in London is also the fact that so many people come and go through here that already just a couple of weeks into living here I've already had the pleasure to meet up with some old co-workers... ah life is good =)
some of my kmart ladys...
meeting up at a pub...
yummy appetizers...
traditional fish & chips...
of course beer!!!
So if you made it through this long of a post than I thank you sincerely... I promise to update you all weekly so the next ones won't be this long... hopefully! Have a good night or rest of the day depending on where in the world you are.
